Meditation and Mindfulness are both mind-body practices with methods grounded in present moment awareness. This 4 week course is designed to be accessible for beginning students as well as seasoned practitioners looking to deepen their practice.
Through weekly lecture, guided meditation, group discussion, yoga practice, and journaling this course has the tools to change how you perceive yourself and the world around you.
Laura G. graduated from Hope College with a degree in kinesiology, the study of body movement. Over the past 6 years she has continued studying mindful movement as well as how the mental/ cognitive thoughts and energy systems effect the physical body. Sarah Powers, Anna Forest, and Linda Kay have been a few of her most influencial teachers. Laura has completed her 200 RYT from Yoga Alliance.
