Get unstuck on and off the mat by learning release techniques for the hips and low back. In this workshop you will learn how to eliminate dense fascia and scar tissue from the hips and low back to create space for freedom and movement.
Tight hips are responsible for various pain in the body including back pain, hip pain, tightness in the neck and jaw, and limited range of movement. Learn tools to prevent over stretching these areas of the body and how to balance strength and flexibility. We will open the hips and low back through yoga, resistance stretching, and working with the meridians.
This workshop is for all levels, from beginners looking to sit comfortably and increase flexibility in basic yoga poses, to advances practitioners and teachers looking to stabilize their hips and learn more about teaching flexibility techniques
Jennifer Feldman (RYT-200) is a yoga teacher at Cascade Yoga Studio in Grand Rapids, Mighigan. She teaches yoga classes with a strong emphasis on alignment. Jennifer is known for her smart, authentic, and creative sequencing, which is challenging yet accessible. An artist and musician, Jennifer holds a degree in Music Performance and studied Coaching Psychology from Harvard University. She also is a certified Resistance Flexibility trainer.
